I once knew a precious lady from England, a war bride, who built a charming guest house on her property, into which she imported her ancient mother for the purpose of watching and general spoiling. They invited me, onc day, to High Tea. I hardly knew what to expect, but it was a delicious meal, including expensive tea, of course, served in expensive china. What a lovely memory they so generousy gave me!

I love this! I recently attended the Cameo Tea at the Harper Alexander House near my home in Lonoke. It is a beautiful historic home which is beautifully decorated. The treats were wonderful, catered by R.S.V.P. Dainty sandwiches and tea trays, teapots and cameo pins. It was a lovely afternoon. I am a bit nervous about the fact that the chorus I sing with, Top of the Rock, is having an event there in April. The nerves come it because I am doing the food!!!
