I love it, Debbie! One of my good friends opened a flower shop in historic downtown Rogers in 2008: http://www.BrickStreetBotanical.com. I have spent just about every Christmas, Valentine’s Day and a few Easters and Mother’s Days helping her deal with the madness. It’s exhausting but fun and brings me so much joy! I love that you’ve done that together!!

We are stay at homers! I have been married 19 years and in the past we have attempted to go out and it ended badly because the lines were so long and we’d look at each other and know we’d rather be spending this time doing something else together as opposed to standing in line together. Valentine’s Day marks the half-way point to our anniversary and also the day of our engagement. It’s special enough.

One of the most fun Valentine’s that Hubby and I have shared was when we volunteered to deliver flowers for a florist friend. We spent the entire day sharing floral joy with people all over the county…and through a gorgeous snowfall. It was fantastic.
