AWBU 2014 – Handmade Marketplace

Last year, several of our member bloggers took a leap up faith and agreed to participate in the first ever AWBU Handmade Marketplace.

We converted the Camp Ferncliff mess hall into a wonderful marketplace and the girls sold a variety of products from photo cards, handspun yarn, handmade clothing and accessories, signs, upcycled items, soaps, lotions, baked goods and books.

For several of the girls, this was their first experience as a vendor in a handmade event. It was an opportunity to try out the craft fair lifestyle with out a lot of work in a friendly and inviting atmosphere.

We are currently exploring the possibility to continue this event at AWBU 2014. Due to the change in the venue for AWBU 2014, it is necessary for us to gauge the interest in this event before we make a commitment to it.

If you are interested in participating at the AWBU 2014 Handmade Marketplace it is essential that you fill out this form NO LATER THAN July 11th. Based on the responses we receive, we will make a decision and contact all potential vendors by July 18th. A final commitment from all participating vendors will be required by August 8.

It is possible that we could allow outside vendors to particpate in the marketplace. If you know someone who is not a member of ARWB that may be interested please pass along the information and ask them to fill out the form. Priority will be given to current ARWB members and to those that are registered for AWBU 2014.

Please note that this form does NOT guarantee you a space in the AWBU 2014 Handmade Marketplace. In order to make sure that we have a variety of products available, we (ARWB) reserve the right to make the final decision in the selection of vendors.

Please fill out this form no later than July 11th!

I Loved the marketplace last year. I hope enough of our crafty members are willing to participate. Outside vendors would be fun as well.
